Looking into buying IA universal or whole life insurance

I am exploring buying a life insurance that pays at the end of term. 20 year universal life insurance by IA seems like a good candidate. Any red flags or pitfalls that I should be aware of. I am very skeptical of anything that comes out of insurance advisor's mouth.
