I’m new to picking PC parts, please help audit my current list

I mostly play FPS games with friends like COD MW3, Fortnite, OW2, but I also really enjoy playing things like RDR2, assassins creed, I’m looking at getting ghost of Tsushima and GOW Ragnarok.

One of my least favorite parts of playing these, especially the single player games, is that my current setup can’t handle playing these games on high fps (100+). I currently use a 2k display, 165hz with no plans to upgrade.

I currently have a 6700xt, but am often disappointed with many of these games, as the frames are often volatile and lower than comfortable, even after sacrificing a significant amount of quality settings.

My main questions are:

Is any part of this build overkill?

Are there any places I could save a significant amount of money without making major sacrifices?

Will I be able to run most of these games on at least medium to high settings without compromising the majority of my frames?

Should I hold off so that I can get a new gen AMD CPU?

Is it worth it to go for a 4070 super or a 4070 ti?

Will the cooling be sufficient?

Are the specific brands I picked for all of the parts reliable? Are any of them known to have major issues?

Also, I don’t know what I don’t know, so what other things am I being oblivious or ignorant to?
