Do you care about the Jaeger destruction in Uprising?
It has widely been a criticism of uprising that during the final battle in Tokyo, the Jaegers seemingly end up causing more destruction to the city than the Kaiju do. Now they do go out of their way to say that the city is secure and no civilians are left, however unrealistic that may sound. But my question is, does it matter to you? If every civilian is safe, and there’s no risk of human casualties, do you think it’s fine to just destroy the entire city if it’s for the sake of stopping the Kaiju? Or do you think that it’s the pilots responsibility to somewhat protect the city itself, so that the people have a place to still call home when the fighting is all said and done?
