Alright need some miata expert opinions
1990 NA6, trying to chase down a steering wheel shake around 70-80mph and I don’t think it is “normal” but maybe nature of the beast now.
Alignment is good will attach printout of last alignment done around last august
Tires have been replaced and all road forced and runout was exceptionally good balanced just fine
Suspension arms are all v8roadster elite arms with 95A poly bushings
Wheel hubs and bearings have all been replaced with skf
Now as fast as everything there goes that could have any effect on it I’m kind of at a loss.
It has definitely improved some with the new tires but 100% is still there, before new tires it would come and go on the interstate and be smooth as can be maybe 20-25% of the time so it isn’t a 100% of the time shake of the wheel.
It does have 5x steering rack spacers (risers)
The tie rods both inner and outer are original at least under my ownership these past 4 years
I’m just kind of stumped on what to try other then maybe new rack bushings and inner and outer TRE’s
