Chose the wrong person

I’m looking for books where MC1 chooses the wrong person and realizes it when “it’s too late”. I’m specifically hoping for MC2 to have been in love with MC1 the whole time and once MC1 chooses someone else, decides to move on. I want MC2 to be done… maybe even just change as a whole because they thought they were too nice and just got walked over and overlooked.
