Over a Year Unemployed—Sick of Corporate Bureaucracy & the Scam We Call Corporate America
I’ve been unemployed for over a year, and the more I reflect, the more disgusted I am with the corporate system. It’s not just broken—it’s designed to keep you overworked, underpaid, and disposable.
I busted my ass, worked late, took on extra projects—for what? Layoffs. I hit my goals, went the extra mile, and got average performance reviews. I played by the rules, trusted the process, and watched execs cash in while workers got screwed.
It’s a rigged system: • Layoffs while profits soar – Your job isn’t safe, no matter how hard you work.
• “We’re a family” is a LIE – They’ll cut you the second it benefits them.
• PIPs are just execution orders – The decision is already made; they’re just covering their asses.
• Wage theft is built in – Free labor disguised as “dedication.”
• Raises that don’t match inflation – Meanwhile, stock buybacks hit record highs.
• Toxic work culture – They demand loyalty but offer zero in return.
Where’s the outrage? STOP overworking. STOP playing their game. START fighting back. They need us more than we need them. Who else is done with this?
