Alaska Desperately Needs More Attorneys

Wanted to share this article here because I know many law students find themselves in over-saturated job markets in other parts of the country. We have such a major shortage of attorneys in Alaska that hundreds of cases have been dismissed in just the last six months. This is happening in the state’s largest city, but there are vacant attorney positions all over Alaska.

Alaska is the only state without its own law school, so recruiting is that much harder. If your plans after law school aren’t set yet, you might consider taking a look at jobs up here, especially in the public sector. We need you!
