Why do I feel like my ”real”-self on LSD

I don’t know if I’m alone but I feel like this psychedelic head space is my real self. It feels familiar and comforting. I don’t want trips to end and I always look forward to the next. I don’t get addicted to things normally but LSD especially should be not addictive. Is it normal?
