Aemond Will End Up Loyal to Aegon

I have seen common theories that Aemond will most likely go down the route of being in denial of Helaena's prophecy and try to avoid this fate, but end up taking actions that lead to his death either way. I partly agree with this, but I think the show has the chance to make a more powerful parallel between Aemond and Daemon, making their last battle even more impactful.

Next season, I have a feeling that Aemond will start off very messed up mentally and commit more horrendous acts, such as burning Riverrun and massacring the entire Strong house. This will further make him feel guilty, because this whole season, it feels like he is putting on a facade and we see hints of vulnerability (brothel scenes, when Alicent tries to speak to him when he is kicking her out of the council, when he tries to speak to Helaena and end up crying when she tells him that he will die in the end).

However, I think they will end up repeating the Daemon hallucinations storyline. I know a lot of people didn't like this storyline, but I would argue this will actually be more interesting with Aemond. I think Aemond's psyche will be more fascinating to explore, and I think we finally see how he processes his guilt for what he did Lucerys. I also think we will end up seeing how he feels guilty for what he did to Aegon, as there were some hints in season 2. Mostly when he was looking at Aegon's burnt body, I think he felt guilty based on his facial expression. He didn't have that brooding look, but more pensive.

As he goes through these visions, he will (rightfully so LOL, he's one of my favs but he deserves it) go more crazy... but it will be the first time he actually processes his trauma and face his guilty conscience. As this happens, i think he will slowly change and see his life experience in a different way and understand how his current path will just lead to more destruction and further harm his family... making him end up not wanting power anymore.

When this happens, I think he will end up loyal to Aegon, essentially mirroring Daemon. Through this scenario, both men will be forced to explore their guilt and sins after causing harm to others in their pursuit to power. However, forcing them to face their sins and guilt and accept that power is just going to destroy their house, they both end up loyal to their families, for different reasons maybe, but essentially coming to the same conclusion of accepting their fates. Through this, I think Aemond will end up accepting his death like Daemon, and go into the battle to save his family, which would be a WAY more powerful storyline.

I theorize that Aemond will demonstrate his loyalty to Aegon by meeting one more time. The reason why I think they will meet is because I assume Alys (whatever relationship she will have with Aemond, won't speculate on that) must have some form of a relationship with Larys since they're both Strongs. So I think through them, Aegon and Aemond will FINALLY have the conversation that they should have had years ago. And Aemond will pledge his loyalty, and accept to go fight Daemon to help save his family and redeem himself, and essentially go back to his original value - be dutiful to his family.

I think this would make the Battle of God's Eye more impactful, as both men would have accepted that they will die. But they might as well bring down the rivaling side's biggest threat.

I would love to see this happen onscreen, as I know Ewan is such a talented actor and has the range to pull this off. What do you guys think?

TDLR: Aemond will have Harrenhal hallucinations and be forced to face his demons, and end up accepting his death and being loyal to Aegon, and go into the battle with Daemon so they both can bring down their families' biggest assets.
