How big was Tattletail?

So, i heard about Tattletail when i was watching a german youtuber called HandOfBlood in a Video where he played three "bad" christmas horror games. Since then, Tattletail has always been something that's been hiding in the back of my head. And now, i just saw a TLT Song about it with 22 MILLION VIEWS. Yet, on Steam, the game only has 3000 reviews. I am SO confused about how popular it was back then.
