What do I do??

Hey! I got the game on the drop date and I’ve done a good amount of quests, but one I’m stuck on completing is restoring the nature reserve, I’ve gotten to the point of needing to find the volcano critter list, but I have no idea what to do before I can get the list because I was told I had to complete other quests but not what to do or anything. Help please🙏🏼
