Heard y’all like filthy Glocks
Change of pace from all the clean, high-speed, low-drag, tac’d out Glocktober posts. Apologies for the complete and utter lack of a threaded barrel, comp, X300, mag well, grip tape, optic and stendo.
Deleting old pics and found this one. A few months back, day two of helping out with the new ATV class. Sandy on the trails and it started raining toward the end of the day. Worked the slide and trigger and they were CRUNCHY.
Took it home, stripped it all the way down to the spring cups. Yanked everything out (except for the mag release and spring) and cleaned everything individually. I hadn’t broken down and cleaned a firearm to that extent in years. I forgot how zen it can be.
A week later, I received an old police trade in Smith & Wesson Model 64 .38 Special revolver that was filthier this one. Old grease, grime, cosmoline, sadness and dirty residue for who knows what. Broke that one ALL the way down, a bit trickier than a Glock but surprisingly not by much.
