New s24 device seems to be underperforming?
Bought this galaxy s24 (exy) a few days ago at a very good deal, haven't used it that much since then. I decided to try its gaming performance and I'd say that, it doesn't perform like a flagship device. It can't even do a stable 120fps in this game at max graphics and it heats up a lot with a bit of throttling. Overlay shows that it only utilizes a portion of the gpu and cpu which I think the reason for its poor performance.
I'm aware that it is still learning my usage patterns for it to be optimized but I didn't expect it to perform like this, a midrange device can definitely outperform this in terms of gaming.
Should I give it some time to adjust? Game optimization also matters but this device was released a year ago so most probably it is already optimized considering this is just a light title compared to other games such as Genshin, WoW, HSR and etc.
