should i reroll the enchantment?

hey guys, so im a new player, started playing like a week ago. My friend heped me get avalanche rod and he said i should i enchant it with relics. I did once and got herculean and he said its bad and i should reroll it. I have 2 relics( on of them is negative) should i reroll or stay with herculean?
