Need help filing a formal dispute for CERB/CRB eligibility

Hi there,

I need to file a dispute as I received a decision letter saying I was ineligible for the CERB and CRB benefits. I actually was eligible, but they made this decision because I missed their original letter asking for evidence to verify I was eligible, so now I need to file this dispute with my evidence.

I have all of my evidence and everything in order, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to submit my dispute online.

When I go to the ‘File a formal dispute’ page on my CRA account, it says I must select the subject area for my dispute and I don’t know which to select as CERB/CRB is not an option.

The options are as follows: - Canada Child Benefit (CCB) or other provincial/territorial programs - CPP/EI ruling - Disability Tax Credit (DTC) - FHSA assessment notice - GST/HST Credit or other provincial/territorial programs - Income tax - Tax Free Savings Account (TFSA)

I’m leaning toward CPP/EI ruling, but wanted to confirm here so I don’t mess this up. Or, if this is the complete wrong place to submit a CERB-CRB dispute, please point me in the right direction!

I would just call, but their office is closed for this evening and want to get this dealt with as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance for your help!
