Trunk won’t shut

For months my trunk would latch & shut but would never lock. I could lock my car and still open the trunk with the trunk button.

Then my trunk would go down but not latch (no trunk warning chimes)

Now the locking mechanism got stuck on lock. And won’t shut all the way. No trunk light comes on and no trunk open warnings

In the lock mechanism broken or could it an electrical issue? Fuses or some kind of module failing?
