Does a kebab feel ‘exotic’ to you?

Greetings, since our beloved doner kebab has its origins from west asia (Turkey) and most of the members in this subreddit are UK and western europe based. I’ve often wondered if a kebab still has an ‘exotic’ feel to it for you personally?

I’m sure this was the case in the early 70’s but by now surely not. After all this dish is still much very popular. What are your thoughts?
