Experience with dog cut on paw pad?

My dog got a cut on his dog pad, I only bleeds when he’s sprinting on the field, otherwise, it doesn’t look infected and he doesn’t seem to be in pain (no crying or limping). Still playing as normal. Curious if people had experience with cut pads and have an estimate on the healing process. I don’t think it’s severe enough to take him to the vet but interested to hear if anyone had a similar experience and how to maintain it with a high energy pup
