Do I just have to restart the game again?

So I really like this game , but it is a buggy mess. I'm on my 4th(?) playthru now, but still haven't beaten the game.

So on my current playthru and my last I lost the ability to save at the start of day 2. Looked it up seems to be a common problem, everyone just said make it to day 3 and it'll fix it's self. Cool ,no problem.

Kim takes the body for the day, then I realized the pop up for skill check chances and item stats is just is gone. So I guess I'm just shooting blind, but I'm only doing side quests without kim so no worries if I fail one.

After knocking out everything i felt comfortable doing for the day. I decided to wait on the bench for 4 hours so I could just go to sleep and fix the save glitch. So I can save and restart the game to fix the no pop up bug.

FUCK!! I CAN'T SLEEP IN THE BED EVEN THOUGH ITS 23:O1 AND PAID FOR. I really wanna beat this game, any fixes or just restart?

Edit: I also lost the ability to use items I'm holding so no speed or booze for Harry, I guess
