Feel awful leaving my cat at home alone this weekend

I’m headed on vacation today, be back Sunday. But I feel so awful about leaving my new kitten at home. She’s about 7 months old, and I’ve had her for a month now. I have a friend to come check on her and play with her for a bit every day that I’ll be gone, but it still feels mean to leave her without interaction for most of the weekend. I fully plan on getting a second cat soon, I just haven’t yet as I want her to get fully acclimated to my place. I guess I’m not looking for advice or anything, just wanted to vent. I hope she’ll be alright.
