Taylor's Tackle academy expert class issue

so i just got the game and im doing the tutorial missions but it looks like ive run into an issue, im at the location (trouts beard trailhead) for the expert class mission where im suppose to catch a gold sauger at night on a jerkbait with stop and go reeling.....except that i have caught a gold sauger....ive caught 9 of them and the mission still hasnt updated, my exact rod build is Maiden rod-tyro reel-fluorocarbon 4.41lb line-jerkbait hook size 5 (the one you are given to do the mission) ive also noticed that every sauger you catch at trouts beard dock is ALWAYS a gold, ive been sitting here fishing for over 2 hours now and every single one of my 27 sauger are gold (i have 27 bc i was testing if float fishing would fix the issue and it doesnt) so im at a loss for what to do to fix this issue, ive caught a gold sauger at night on both jerkbait and float with leech during day and night, ive restarted my game, server hopped multiple times and still nothing, anyone have any ideas that i can try to fix this

-- EDIT -- i have learned that you have to catch the gold sauger from the dock so it is not a mission issue! :D (thanks to Me2445)
