Imrove shooting and cardio at the same time

Hi!

I was just wondering if there is any exercise that targets both conditioning and shooting at the same time?

I dont really get to play any pickup in my area, so all basketball I play is pretty much shooting by myself to do some exercise.

Id like to improve my cardio at the same time. I ve thought about this exercise:

Shoot from a random place, if i score rest for a minute. If I miss I run and dribble to half court and back.

So far its working great because I miss more shots than a stormtrooper, but as my shooting slowly gets better the running part will be smaller and smaller.

Can you guys come up with any way to balance both parts? Do you know any exercises that could he useful?
