Yay, back to 36 hour review turnaround.

Just to recap, back at the first of the year, all of my reviews went from a standard 36 hour turnaround time to 168 hour turnaround, with no obvious reason. Something got flagged on my account to cause this added delay between the time a review was submitted to when it gets approved.

Even though I have 10 outstanding reviews that were submitted 100 hours ago, a separate review submitted a few days later got approved at the regular 36 hours again. Hopefully this signals the end of the long, artificial delays.

I sent a message to CS a few days ago, but given their non-answer answer, I wasn't expecting anything to change. But apparently it did. So if anyone else is still having the same problem, here are the message exchanges with CS: (I always keep my messages to CS very simple and structured because I assume they are not native English speakers.)

INFORMATION ONLY

For the past 2 or more years all of my reviews have been approved in 36-hours and 10-minutes (give or take a few minutes). I have tracked it; this is like clockwork. Suddenly, beginning January 1st, all of my reviews are now taking 168-hours and 10-minutes to be approved.

In other words, my reviews (all of them) went from 1.5 days for approval to 7 days for approval.

My question is whether something got mistakenly flagged with my account to cause this sudden delay in review approval time?

Their response was rather lacking. They more or less plead ignorance, but poof, it seems to have fixed the issue.
