Is it too much?

Well i recently met this new friend. We connected so well and well i really consider then my friend. And i thought about giving a gift to this person of the same show we really like. And i have the opportunity to buy two things of this series. Should i wait better or maybe the person will think i am too intense and well leave. Idk but i really appreciate this person even if we met recently...
