How does methylphenidate feel for people with ADHD vs. those without it?

I was recently diagnosed with inattentive ADHD. The diagnosis process is naturally subjective, and in my case, it didn’t feel very thorough. I answered honestly, but I still wonder if I was biased—after all, I wanted the diagnosis to help explain many things in my life.

I wonder - how does methylphenidate actually feel for people with ADHD compared to those who don’t have it? Could the reaction to methylphenidate (or stimulants in general) be REAL confirmation of ADHD? Or there is no difference and that's why it's abused as a smart drug?

I got the minimum dose - medikinet cr 10mg, and on the one hand, I don't feel inner turmoil and am able to ignore distractions, stop paying attention and pick up like an antenna all the conversations in the office, on the other - I feel weidly awake and stopped drinking buckets of coffee.

I have second thoughs, I really want to find a cure to my problems (and I know prescribed drugs are only one piece of proper treatment), but don't want do any smart drug shit in case I don't have ADHD.
