Hello people of r/ACTrade!

I've been a member of this community since the release of New Leaf and have been active again since New Horizons came out. This subreddit helped me successfully trade items on so many occasions, and I wanted to give back in some way as a small thank you.

So I have decided to host a giveaway! There will be a total 500 NMTs and five of Mom's homemade cakes going to five lucky winners. More specifically, this means each person will be given 100 NMTs and one of any type of Mom's homemade cakes of their choosing.

In order to enter and qualify for this giveaway:

  • Post one comment in this thread about why you would like to win the prizes and/or what you would do with them.

  • Include the phrase "Read them!" anywhere in your comment in order to verify that you've read through instructions thoroughly.

  • Reply to this thread by May 17th, 5:00PM PST / 8:00PM EST May 17th, 9:00AM PST / 12:00PM EST. I won't be accepting any entries submitted later than that.

  • If you are chosen, please respond to any private messages within 48 hours of the first one sent in order to claim your prizes.

Winners will be chosen randomly through the tool redditraffler to ensure fairness. Anyone who's chosen but doesn't follow the requests above will be dismissed, and a different winner will be chosen in their place. Sorry!

EDIT: After reading a newly-established post by the moderators, I'm now more aware of the concerns regarding these contests here and have decided to modify a couple of aspects of this giveaway. They are as follows:

  • I have changed the submission deadline from May 17th, 5:00PM PST / 8:00PM EST to May 17th, 9:00AM PST / 12:00PM EST.

  • The number of entries for this post will be capped at 1000. I am going to stop accepting entries if this post has 1000 comments or so before it reaches the time deadline.

Entries prior to my announcement won't be affected in any way of course.
