Are there any informations on mindset of chaos gods?

I don't mean what other characters think about chaos gods - I mean how chaos gods think and such, and not just their nature - Khorne wants bloodletting and Slaanesh wants excess - but that is their fundamental nature. Because of that, Khorne is unable to consider bloodletting as something wrong, and Slaanesh is unable to consider excess as something wrong.

Are any lore information how chaos gods think? Things they like aside from their fundamental natures?

(for example, let's say - Slaanesh likes eldar, and wants to have fun together, like pre-fall eldar had fun. However, she is unable to comprehend that someone wouldn't like more excessive fun. - this is just an example I made up.)
